Proof at Scale: What the 2025 Class-Action Filing Data Reveals
In Lex Machina's 2026 Class Action Litigation Report, Figure 11, The Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi posted 834 federal class-action filings in 2025 — the highest 2025 filing count among the plaintiff-side firms listed.
| Firm | 2023 | 2024 | 2025 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Milberg | 448 | 533 | 669 | 1,650 Cumulative leader |
| Stein Saks | 664 | 493 | 413 | 1,570 |
| Gottlieb & Associates | 309 | 426 | 472 | 1,207 |
| The Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi | 81 | 193 | 834 2025 leader | 1,108 |
Milberg led the three-year cumulative table. The Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi had the highest 2025 filing count. Both can be true — only one explains the 2025 signal. The cumulative table shows one kind of leadership; the 2025 count shows another: speed, concentration, and proof under pressure.
The old world reads the leaderboard.
The new world reads the signal.
The report's own data frames the moment. Class-action filings spiked in 2025 after years of relative stability, and consumer-protection cases — 7,650 filings — drove most of the increase. Lex Machina attributes the rise in total class-action filings predominantly to consumer-protection lawsuits, and describes a maturing ecosystem in which specialized firms deploy high-volume litigation strategies.
The report did not create the thesis. It confirmed the shift Jibrael had already been building into.
A legacy firm led the cumulative leaderboard. A lean consumer-protection firm revealed the 2025 signal. Jibrael Hindi Consulting exists to read, engineer, and productize signals like that.
